TRAINING - 22 January weather
21 Jan 18 - The forecast for Monday, 22 January includes freezing rain starting late in the evening. At this point (Sunday, 21 Jan 18) we are still a go. Staff will re-assess and will post a note on the website and in Facebook at 5PM Monday to inform you if we are still training or not.
22 January briefings
17 Jan 18 - On Monday, 22 January all cadets will be briefed by 2Lt Ryan on Summer Training Opportunities. It is important that cadets respect the deadlines associated with this process. For Cadets that are absent, a list of summer training opportunities depending on what year you are in is available here. Cadets will also be provided the informed consent form and personal kit list for the FTX (available here). These are due back to the Corps on the 29th so we can finalize numbers for bus and meals.
UP FOR A CHALLENGE? WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU!
08 Mar 17 - 137 Ashbury RCD Army Cadets is looking for charismatic youth who are looking to get involved within their community. The 2016-2017 training year has already begun but we want to know: Are you up to the challenge? On Monday evenings, between 6:30-8:30pm, you are invited to join us for the evening and see what we are all about. Cadets, Officers, and parents of current cadets will be on-hand to answer questions you may have, and to assist with the enrolment process. We look forward to meeting you, and helping you realize your potential!

1 June 16 - The Army Cadet League of Canada publishes On-Target magazine - a print and digital news letter - that contains information on the Army Cadet program, the League, and affiliates. It is a source of information for the Army Cadet program the country over, and contains articles written by Cadets, Officers, League members, and corps volunteers. 16 Nov 15 - On Monday 16 November, the Commanding Officer of 137 Ashbury, Capt Tim McKee, was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration medal. The CD is awarded to a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 12 years of loyal and honourable service. As well on Monday evening, Training Officer Lt Lee Keller was presented with his Commissioning Scroll. In keeping with tradition, a bet was made that the CO would receive his honour before the Training Officer received his -- The CO won the bet, by 5 minutes... Congratulations to both Officers!
